Hey! I’m Alison and I’m happy you’re looking at this page to get to know a little more about me.
I’ve been shooting weddings since 2013. I was full time, shooting 35-37 weddings a year. Now I photograph weddings because I love it without the hustle and grind that took the joy from creating beautiful photos. The great thing about shooting as many weddings as I have and for as many years as I have is that I can practically bustle any dress, fix any timeline issue and know what forgotten things to account for in the timeline.
Here are some non-photo related things about me:
I am a cat mom to two adorable cats, Rocket & Charlie. They love to chime in during wedding consultations and timeline calls. The future plans include getting a dog, but in the meantime, my cats do a pretty great job of filling that void!
Many of my couples met on a dating app. I’m also in the same boat and totally can relate to the app based stories and getting to know your partner during the pandemic!
I’m a California native but Bellingham, WA is my home! I’m thankful for California weddings, especially in San Luis Obispo, as I get to visit family when I’m in the area.
I’m starting Washington State University in the fall of 2024 and excited to be a Coug! GO COUGS!
Outside of shooting weddings, I have a passion for learning about law and helping provide access to legal services with occasionally volunteering at my local community legal clinic.
