If you ask anyone who worked full time in the event industry pre-covid, how the last year has been, I’m pretty sure they would absolutely agree with me its a combo of anxiety, working non stop, covid testing pre and post some events but all and all, happy to be working again with some modifications.

As much as my world has been rocked by covid, 98% of my couples faced the ultimate decision of choosing to protect their loved ones and postponing instead of going forward to their dream day. About 85% of my 2021 weddings have all been reschedules from 2020 with my last 5/6 being all covid postponements. Couples that I’ve been working with and chatting about their special days since 2019 if not late 2018 are finally getting married! Mikayla and Stephen are one of those couples :)

I finally go to meet Mikayla & Stephen after a year of trying to make their engagement session happen during the pandemic and trying to shoot their engagement session inside of San Francisco City Hall.. which is where they eloped last year during the pandemic because you know what - covid can’t stop love! We even stoped where they exchanged rings to exchange rings and share some words about how much they love each other.

After shooting, we drove to The Palace of Fine arts where we enjoyed the sun before the fog rolled in and admired the beautiful homes in between finding the prettiest spots.

I’m looking forward to meeting up with them this Winter for their one year anniversary and wedding celebration!
